Gel Plate: Wax Resist Workshop

Join me at Singing River Art Studio in Hattiesburg MS on July 21, from 2-4 for this fun workshop where we will explore wax resist prints using gel plates. The cost of this workshop is $50 for 2 hours, all supplies provided. This includes paper, paint, and other supplies and use of my brayers and 5 x 7" gel plates.
Even if you have no art experience or you believe that you are not creative, gel plate printing is a wonderful medium suitable for all levels of experience. Gel plates are floppy silicone "plates" that are used to transfer images using acrylic based inks and paints. There are lots of techniques you can use to make images. In this workshop we will transfer images from laser copies onto the gel plate and apply more layers of paint to create unique works of art.
